1. Data controller
Miranda Giaccon, UX & Product Consultant
VAT number: 04987210236
Email: info@mirandagiaccon.it
2. Data collected and purposes
2.1 Website browsing and analytics
During normal browsing, servers record technical data such as IP address, browser type, visited pages and access times for security and aggregate statistics. Server browsing records are deleted within 30 days.
Vercel hosts this website. Vercel Analytics provides aggregate statistics on page views, country, device type and browser without analytics cookies. Data is processed in anonymous, aggregate form by Vercel Inc., based in the United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. It processes browsing statistics, such as page views, time spent and country, using analytics cookies and transmitting data to Google LLC in the United States. Its legal basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The GA4 tag is loaded from googletagmanager.com after consent; this website does not use a separate Google Tag Manager container. You can change or withdraw consent using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Fonts and icons
Manrope and Inter fonts and Lucide icons are served directly by this website. Displaying them does not require requests to Google Fonts or Font Awesome.
2.2 Contact form
The contact form collects your name, company, email address, optional website or product URL, the decision and difficulties you describe, and your preferred timeframe. We use these details to respond and assess a possible professional engagement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
2.3 Decision matrix download
Your email address is collected solely to deliver the requested material (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Requesting the matrix does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list. Your address is sent to Brevo SAS for email delivery and contact management. You can request deletion by emailing the controller.
2.4 Email communications
Contact details are used to answer your specific inquiry. They are not added to newsletters or marketing campaigns without explicit consent.
2.5 Software Fit Sprint
The form collects your name, email, company, decision and problem description, along with any available referral parameters (UTM and originating page). Brevo processes these details to manage your request and notify the controller. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request. Marketing communications about the controller’s activities are sent only if you select the optional marketing checkbox. Their legal basis is consent, which you can withdraw by emailing info@mirandagiaccon.it.
3. Retention
Contact inquiries are retained as long as necessary to handle the request. Without a professional engagement, they are deleted within 12 months of receipt. If an engagement begins, applicable legal and tax retention periods apply, including up to 10 years for accounting documents.
4. Recipients and service providers
Personal data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for their own commercial purposes. Technical providers include:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting and aggregate analytics, United States.
- Google LLC: Google Analytics 4, United States, only after consent. Google Privacy Policy.
- IONOS SE: SMTP email service, Germany.
- Brevo SAS: transactional emails and contact management, France. Brevo Privacy Policy.
- Calendly LLC: external appointment booking, United States. When you follow a booking link, Calendly processes the information you submit, such as name, email and time zone, under its Privacy Policy. This website does not embed a Calendly Widget.
5. International transfers
Some technical providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are subject to safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable European Commission adequacy decisions.
6. Your rights
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR, where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Contact info@mirandagiaccon.it to exercise your rights. Requests are answered within 30 days.
7. Artificial intelligence tools
Generative AI tools supported the production of website text, images and page structure. The controller reviewed and approved the content. AI-generated portraits do not depict real people and are identified on their respective pages. These production tools do not automatically process visitors’ data or make automated decisions about visitors.
8. Cookies
Analytics cookies are optional. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to accept or reject them. The detailed Cookie Policy (Italian) describes cookies and browser controls.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The update date appears above. Substantial changes are communicated through a visible notice on the website.
